Rights and explanatory notes

Full, long distance, flex or passive? There are different rights depending on membership category
The various membership categories involve different rights and explanatory notes. The information below is relevant for a more thorough understanding of the membership categories

Full membership

With a full membership of Esbjerg Golf Club, you get the right to use all the practice facilities, including the par 3 course. In addition, of course, you also get the right to play on the course(s) that your membership covers.

You will get a DGU (Danish Golf Union) card with your name and membership number, which at any time is your proof that you are allowed to play on our courses as well as other courses across the country. If you are a full member and play as a green fee guest in other golf clubs, you will also be able to receive discounts if the golf club in question offers them.

With a full membership, you have free use of Esbjerg Golf Club’s membership benefits under the conditions that apply to the various benefits.

Long distance membership

With a long distance membership of Esbjerg Golf Club, you have the right to use both our courses and all the practice facilities including the par 3 course.

You will not get a DGU card from Esbjerg Golf Club, but you must be able to present a valid DGU card from your home club. It is also your home club that is responsible for registering your scores.

As a long distance member, you do not have the opportunity to make use of Esbjerg Golf Club’s membership benefits, which also cover green fee agreements with other golf clubs both nationally and internationally.

To become a long distance member of Esbjerg Golf Club, you must reside outside Esbjerg Municipality and have a full membership and thus a valid DGU number in another golf club.

Flex membership

With a flex membership of Esbjerg Golf Club, you can use the practice facilities, including the par 3 course.

As part of your membership, you will each year receive two green fee vouchers, which you can use within the subscription year. Any further rounds must be paid for.

With a flex membership, there is no kind of discount on green fees, not here in Esbjerg Golf Club – and rarely in other clubs. This also means that with a reduced membership like this, you cannot make use of Esbjerg Golf Club’s membership benefits.

You will get a DGU card labelled F, which proves your playing rights and membership category.

Passive membership

With a passive membership, you have the right to use all Esbjerg Golf Club’s practice facilities, including the par 3 course. Note! If you only have a driving range membership, you only have the right to use the driving range.

Family membership

With a family membership , you get the right to play both our courses. A family membership is valid for two adult and children under 18 living at home.

Junior

You are a junior until and including the year you turn 18.

Young adult

A young adult membership is for those aged 19-25.

Adult

An adult membership is for those aged 26 and over.

Student

As a student attending an education eligible for SU (State Educational Grant and Loan Scheme), you can get a reduced subscription fee by presenting a valid student ID card if you are between 26 and 30 years of age.

In Esbjerg Golf Club, you and your friends or family will get the best possible experience with golf.
